As you may have heard from our prior article, we started recording the new Paragon Cause album with Sune Rose Wagner (guitarist/songwritter of The Raveonettes). Well, its done. All done. Whew.
Let me go out on a limb and say it sounds amazing. We had the opportunity to pump some of the rough mixes of the songs on my stereo and this thing will impress LL Cool J when its played on some Boomin Systems.
We really don’t want to give to much away about the album apart from saying, its a progression. It is us, but a more fully realized Paragon Cause album. The first album was alot about mood and vibe. This album maintains that but the song writing and craft were the focus. I think people are going to be surprised by what they hear.
Right now, we are finishing mixing and then will master the new album, after which, songs will start to be released.
The new Paragon Cause album is currently untitled, but prior to that we will likely release a few ambient songs, just to keep things moving.
